These Are What Work At Home Agents Deem As A Legitimate Work At Home Business

Business, Entrepreneurship.

Legitimate work at home business? naw! cant be! - looking for a legitimate work at home business has been compared to looking for a needle in a haystack. You just have to know what to look for.

Now while I will admit that it can be a little time consuming finding that perfect business opportunity that meets all your personal needs and is indeed genuine, there are in fact many legitimate work at home businesses to choose from. - first off, what constitutes as a scam? Unfortunately, broken promises do not mean you have been scammed. A scam is when you are promised one thing and receive something different or nothing at all. If they company claims that you can make 500 dollars or more and you dont but they provided you with the tools needed to do the job then they are still considered a legitimate work at home business. If its 9 - 5 security youre looking for then the internet is the last place you should look.

The problem lies with people looking for jobs rather than a business. - the only way working from home can offer security is if youre on someone else payroll. You have be prepared to invest and you have to be prepared to take some loses. But the internet is known for easy business set ups and the cold truth is that all businesses are gambles. That said some businesses are less of a gamble than others. These businesses have the following qualities. 1) They layout what the business entails.

These are what work at home agents deem as a legitimate work at home business. - legitimate work at home businesses have clearly drawn out instructions of the tasks you will need to perform. This is to ensure that they attract people who are interested in that type of work. Whether its selling a product or service, or proofing material, data entry, the company is clear about what you need to do to make money. Always find out what you will be doing and if in fact its something youre qualified for or are willing to put the hours in to learn. 2) All credible businesses will provide you with at least 2 forms of contact. Keep in mind however, that while having multiple methods of contact is a good thing, having too many email addresses or phone numbers is a warning sign. Look around for an email address, phone number, business address, anything you can use to get in touch with a real person.

Scam artists will often provide people with false numbers or email address making the prospect have to go one a wild goose chase in order to find them. - and this is why being able to contact someone is so important. If the site has more than 3 different email addresses with different hosts continue your search for a legitimate work at home business. 3) Mentoring is another important requirement for a legitimate work at home job. If you cant get in touch with a real person for help, the chances of succeeding are slim. You need to be able to properly understand the work at home job if you are to be proficient in it. Mentoring and assistance is essential for the success of your business. Resources such as forums, a personal mentor, books and email updates are usually provided by legitimate work at home companies. 4) Perhaps one of the best ways to judge if in fact the home based business is a good match for you is by personally researching the company.

How long has it been around, and what is its success rate? - what are other people saying about it? Generally, a legitimate work at home business has good reviews but dont be taken away by this. Remember, no company is perfect and you want to find out if the pros outweigh the cons for you. Find out the good and the bad. Finding a legitimate work at home business can seem daunting but they are out there.

Look for companies who have the above qualities and be realistic in what you are looking for in a legitimate work at home opportunity.

Seller C In This Example Has Created The Most Precise Auction Title

Business, Entrepreneurship.

Advertising techniques for ebay sellers: the power of keywords - every entrepreneur knows that advertising is the lifeblood of business. However, advertising on eBay is different from advertising in a brick and mortar world.

The only way to sell a product and attract customers is through advertising. - to effectively advertise on ebay the seller must do keyword research and write effective copy and titles for their auction items. Most buyers on eBay find the product they are shopping for in one of two ways. By following the advice below and carefully writing auction titles and descriptions a seller can easily increase the selling price of their product. They either find the product by doing a keyword search for the product of they navigate directly to the category of the item they are seeking. The first and by far the most common way that eBay buyers find what they are looking for is through keyword searches.

Therefore an eBay seller has two chances to attract visitors to their auction page. - for the seller on ebay it is therefore important to take the time to think about the keywords they use in their auction title and item description. For example lets consider three different eBay sellers selling the same item. The number one tip for writing effective titles and descriptions is to be specific. They are all selling the same item a Nokia 6610 Triband cell phone. Seller B lists the cell phone using the following auction title, "Nokia 6610 cell phone" . Seller A lists the item using the following title, "Brand new cell phone" .

While seller C uses the following auction title, "Nokia 6610i Triband Camera Cell Phone w Radio" . - seller c in this example has created the most precise auction title. In this example the seller that will typically experience the most visitors to their auction page would be seller C. So if a buyer comes along and simply types" cell phone" into the search engine all three will display. So as you can see by being more specific about the item that is being sold the seller can capitalize on the natural search results. If the same buyer types" Nokia 6610" then only sellers B and C will have their auction page displayed in the results.

The second way that buyers on eBay find the item they are looking for is by navigating through the categories to find what they want. - however if the seller accidentally listed the item into the wrong category for example cell phones accessories, parts then they would lose many of the interested visitor or buyers to their auction page. So in the example above the buyer would navigate through the following categories to find the cell phone they are looking for Cell Phones Phones Only. In order to find the best keywords to use in the auction title and description that are often overlooked is to search for the product you are selling first. However right under the search box are" Related Keywords" . For example if you type in Nokia 6610 into the eBay search engine it will give the results like always. These are keywords that eBay is suggesting as common search terms.

By doing a little search before listing an item a seller can easily increase the number of visitors to their auction and increase the final selling price of the item. - therefore they are great high traffic keywords to use in the title of the auction. By effectively using very specific keywords in the title and listing the item in the correct category the seller can easily increase their profit margin. In fact eBay even gives you suggestions for terms that are frequently searched for and one that are great to use in the auction title and description.

Now You Decide To Sell The Business

Business, Entrepreneurship.

Getting the best deal for your business - you have worked hard to make your business successful and you have succeeded. What should you do and how should you do it. Now you decide to sell the business.

The first suggestion is talk with the professionals that have worked with you through the years. - if you live in a bigger city check to see if there is a local business broke you could talk with. Your accountant and lawyer would be a good place to start. You will need to immediately gather all pertinent information about your company. Any long term lease agreements or loan obligations will have to be located for the business presentation. These include tax returns, P& L statements and significant bank records.

Equipment leases or maintenance agreements are relevant too. - all of this and more will be needed first to set a price and then negotiate the sale. If you have a union shop, the agreement with the union should also be part of the business' s full disclosure. Be prepared for an in depth look at every aspect of your business. To set the price, one of the choices is to use a certified evaluation broker who is in the business of valuing any type of business. Get a certified evaluation from a certified business broker.

These specialists in evaluation are used in court cases and IRS cases so their creditability is excellent and their proposed value for your business is very close to the mark. - you can find evaluation software or your accountant could come up with a number, but you should consider an expert for this core piece of information about your business. Many deals are based on just their number and the negotiation centers around terms of payment and if the owner will carry some paper. You might want to check out our article on Evaluating your business for sale. Another way to check out your company' s possible value is look at what other companies in your industry are worth in comparison to their sales. Check out industry prices.

Industry associations and the Internet are good places to get this information. - in any event find out what multiple of earnings seems to be in favor now or any other valuing method. If the economy is strong, you may be able to get a better inflation rate than otherwise. Industry trends may be factored in to this price. In any event the multiplier of profit can be from 10 to 1 times depending on the strength of the company. Remember, industry trends are for the entire country and may need to be adjusted by a location factor. The type of business also can be a factor.

This is where the CBB( certified business broker) comes into the picture. - as you can see coming up with a sale price is complicated and maybe better left to an expert. His training and experience will come into play when figuring what your business is worth. Offers in business sections of papers and trade magazines also will give some idea of a number for your business. Check out offers on the Internet. There are many business brokers listed on the Internet.

These Internet sources are excellent places to get all kinds of information about selling a business. - talk to them about what a business like yours is being offered for in different parts of the country. Reading articles on these sites will alert you to the fact that selling a business is far more difficult than selling a house. Cash price vs. terms price. There are just more facts to deal with and probably more legal rules to worry about. Part of the deal to sell your business is setting an asking price for your business.

Will you accept terms in order to sell the business? - once this is done, then another decision must be made. Terms mean you will wait for part of the purchase price to be paid at a later date. So the seller has two asking prices. Many sellers will do this, but they sweeten the deal by asking for more money if terms are part of the purchase. One price is a sale for cash and the other price is higher if terms are necessary in order for the deal to be made. Both parties got what they wanted and the higher price is fair to both.

Actually this is a fairly easy negotiation as the higher price is not bothersome if the new owner is successful with running the purchased business. - many negotiates have used this gambit for years to make deals. The actual terms of the wait and pay deal can be for one year or more. The old owner gets the business sold and the new owner while paying a little more for the business gets an existing business with an excellent chance of making the purchase work out over time. There are some caveats that the seller should keep in mind. This money will be needed to make the extended payment or payments.

Where will the extra money come from in the future? - if it is going to come from the business cash flow, does the old owner believe this is possible? Will you finance part of the purchase price. If not then this deal is a non - starter and must be turned down unless the old owner would not mind getting the business back through forfeiture. Financing part of the purchase price is common when selling a business. The old owner is an obvious source for this financing deal. Many people will have a substantial down payment, but they want to keep back some money to run the business and not always be cash flow short.

They know the business to the bone and if they feel the new owner will be able to run the business, then they will seriously consider the financing deal in order to complete the sale. - this decision is all about the feeling you have for the new owner. If you turn down this offer, then it may be a while before you get another serious buyer looking at your business. If they have other assets, then this is a no - brainer. Conclusions. If their credit checked out then this is another reason to do the deal. Since an asking price has to be defended by solid information and company history, the hiring of a Certified Business Broker is a very good first step toward selling your business.

After this price is set, it can be further used as a solid starting point for all other negotiating. - this step provides a selling price that can be used with confidence and can be verified. Early on the owner needs to make a decision if the deal has to be all cash or terms or financing. If it has to be an all cash deal, the broker will know up front if the potential buyer can meet this requirement. With this in mind, this decision will speed up the discussions between the buyer and the seller or broker. If terms or financing are available, the deal is much easier to put together.

If all facts are laid on the table, it makes for a better discussion situation as surprises are kept to a minimum. - a clear presentation folder of all of the pertinent business information should be part of the opening discussion. If a broker is involved, let the broker handle the negotiating as they are more experienced at doing it right at either the seller or the buyer. All of this put together will help to get the best deal for the seller that can be obtained between this buyer and the seller. The broker' s purpose in the deal is to expedite it and make it happen if at all possible. If it fails then the next negotiation will have to be played out on its own merits. Each deal has an optimum possibility and it is the job of an involved broker to help both parties come to a fair agreement.

Make Sure Your Coach Has The Time To Meet Your Needs So You Can Build Your Business

Business, Entrepreneurship.

Advantages of hiring a career coach - a career coach performs many duties that include helping new business owners write a business plan, offer advice on issues that may come up while creating the business, putting new business owners in contact with other business owners and being there whenever business owners need to talk about the direction of their business. Most career coaches are business owners themselves, so they understand the pressures of succeeding. While a career coach is not needed to start a successful business, many people turn to them for guidance and support, especially if they are new to the world of business.

Some have worked in other industries and can offer years of expertise in certain fields. - while they may run a full time coaching business helping different clients each day, some prefer to work with one person and may only work in the coaching business part time. Most career coaches specialize in one or two fields. Even though the skills needed to help others varies from industry to industry, career coaches are able to give general advice and listen to those who may not have anywhere else to turn. Unless you have general career questions, only a coach who has worked in your field will understand your specific needs. When looking for a career coach, you should try to find one with experience in your field.

Some coaches are available any time, while others are only available during scheduled visits, so try to determine your needs and find a coach that can facilitate them. - once you have found a coach, it is important to outline your needs early on so you can make the most of your time. Most people are referred to career coaches by others who have worked with them. After working with the coach for a few sessions, you will begin to feel more comfortable and you can move on to other issues. If you do not want to own a business but need help advancing in your career, coaches can help by becoming a sounding board offering advice and counsel when you need it. Make sure your coach has the time to meet your needs so you can build your business.

If your job is stressful, a coach can offer ways to reduce stress and find what work life balance that you need. - but career coaches can teach time management and organizational skills that you can use in order to make your life less stressful. This is oftentimes the most difficult challenge that people face when they are looking to advance in their career. They can also suggest reading materials, courses and other information sources for you to turn to when you need them. For many, a career coach can help people find their way in the corporate world or help them establish their own businesses easily.

I Have Heard Of Online Surveys For Money

Business, Entrepreneurship.

Can money really be made at home using the internet? - the internet has caused an explosion of people looking to secure their financial futures by working from home using their internet connection. Do people really succeed doing this?

Does this work? - if so, what are my chances of success? The competition is ridiculous and overwhelming. There are literally millions of people at home who are trying or have tried to make money with the Internet. Many people will be discouraged by this and many give up quickly, before the money starts to roll in. However, it is not quite like your traditional job. Money can honestly be made using the Internet.

Working from home online is much like owning your own business in many ways, but differs in many ways as well. - there are taxes in many forms from federal to state to even local taxes on just about everything involved in business. Business owners will tell you that there is so much more involved than meets the eye. There are the headaches of employees, inventory and so much more than I want to go into in this article. Commonly, there is a community around the business, which is pretty much a guaranteed source of customers. The thing with owning your own business is that there is so much research that goes into it before launching. The business owner slaps a sign over the building and the customers visually see it and start to trickle in.

When it comes to the Internet, you cannot just slap up a sign. - well, it is not actually that easy, but that is the general idea. It does not work like that. Trust me. You have to become an expert in promotion if you have a website and want people to find it. There is much work that goes into becoming visible on the web.

A motivated person can make money without a website, and lots of it. - can a person make money on the internet without having a website? Now the key here is the term I used above. There is a lot of research to this and a lot of trial and error. A person must be motivated. The Internet is unregulated mostly when it comes to many things. Study and research your interests and most of all, do not become discouraged.

You will find more scams and deceitful sites than anything. - i have heard of online surveys for money. Yes, but again, they do, this is a territory infested with scams, deceit and many shaky operations. Do they work? You have to research and pay attention to who you give your information to. You have to be cautious and not just dive into everything you see.

There are a lot of sharks out there circling for easy prey. - if it looks too good to be true, it very well could possibly be. The key is persistence. When it comes to paid online surveys, a person can make money, and very good money. You have to get out there and start registering for all of the services you can find. There are many good ones out there that can give you a huge boost in the right direction to get you rolling. I highly recommend paying for a survey list from a reputable company.

Once you get registered for a few sites, go register for a few more. - it is so difficult to tell which sites are good ones and which are not by simply reading over their homepage. The idea here is quantity. Unfortunately, you must register and take a few of their surveys and explore their member areas to confirm whether the website is right for you. Again, do not let this discourage you. You will find more deceitful websites than good ones.

If you want to make money getting paid to take surveys, one of your tasks will be to sort through all of the survey websites and try them all. - you will also have your list of undesirables so you do not go back to them. You will start a running list of the good websites that you can actually profit from. Once you have registered for many of these sites, the survey requests will start rolling in. Do not procrastinate. Take them immediately. The real paid surveys do not last long.

There are motivated people out there doing this for a living, believe it or not. - they fill up quickly. They are your competition. Once you begin to get things going, you will find that it grows much easier. You must act fast and beat them to the punch. The money will start flowing and you will find many solicitations coming your way for more and more surveys.

In time, you will find yourself no longer sorting the scams from the good deals, but you will find yourself selecting which surveys pay better than others.

I' M Single. " "Who Makes Your Sandwiches? " Asked Todd. "I Do, " Said Mike

Business, Entrepreneurship.

The circular blame game - mike, his feet dangling above the city, opened his lunch box and groaned. Rick, asked, more aggressive, "Is it peanut butter and jelly again, Mike? " "Yeah, " said Mike, his voice heavy with frustration. "Listen, " said Todd, "You' ve been complaining about your sandwiches for weeks now. " "Right, " chipped in Rick. "Why don' t you just do something about it? " "Sure, " said Mike, and tossed away, sarcastically his sandwiches. Todd, a fellow construction, his friend worker on the high - rise, pretended that he hadn' t heard the groan.

He watched them make a lazy arc above the city and disappear from view. "Now you' re going to go hungry for the rest of the day, "said Rick. "It wasn' t a smart move. " "Listen, " said Todd, "I' m sick of hearing you bellyache every day. - todd and rick glanced at each other. Why don' t you just tell your old lady that you don' t like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. " "What old lady? " asked Mike, surprised. It was their turn to be surprised. "Come again? " they said in unison. "I don' t have an old lady. In this amusing story, we see something that almost everyone does. I' m single. " "Who makes your sandwiches? " asked Todd. "I do, " said Mike. They blame circumstances and other people - - for what they do to themselves.

People complain about their jobs. - because of the element of time between cause and effect, they forget that they did this to themselves. Yet, they are the ones who agreed to be hired on. Yet they chose to be with these people. They complain about their spouse or their friends. They complain about their bank account, or any other, luck misery that they' re experiencing. So, unless a person decides to accept responsibility for where they' re at and what' s happening to them, things will continue to escalate out of control.

Yet they brought all those circumstances into creation. - change happens when we decide to make a different kind of sandwich.

Just Use Web Based Email

Business, Entrepreneurship.

You're not really outsourcing until someone handles your emails - managing incoming emails is just a simple fact of running an online business. Email eats up way too much of our time, if we, and. want to be more productive business owners we really need to consider the idea. of outsourcing the email management to an assistant. Many business owners have a hard time imagining that anyone else could. possibly do as good a job as them at answering emails and providing that. service to their customers.

The goal is to find a system that allows you to outsource the handling of these. requests and still being able to' drop in' to check on how things are going. - using a system like this will. allow customers to submit their questions, which are then processed and sent to. the people who you have assigned to handle a certain topic. Using a help desk is a great way to manage a large number of customers who. are asking for help or answers on a certain topic. Your assistants will. receive an email any time there is a question that they will need to answer. In some systems, you can even set automatic escalation after a certain number. of days. Customers then can log back in to check the status of their case and there is a. record available for everyone to refer back to when or if needed.

What happens is that the system alerts you whenever a ticket has been. inactive for a long period of time. - but what if a help desk is too complex for your needs or you just don' t like. using them? Using this system will give you the assurance. that your assistants are responding to requests in a proper amount of time while. allowing you to still stay' hands off' . Here are two simple methods you can outsource your emails. Most web hosting accounts come with a web mail. system. Just use web based email. Simply have your assistant check and process your emails through the. browser.

Another method is to use IMAP. - your emails are stored online on your web hosting account so it' ll be. there if you ever need to check in. When your assistant sets up their email reader. to check your email account, ask them to choose IMAP instead of POP. There is one small thing that makes the. difference here, your emails will be stored online and not downloaded to your. assistants computer as she checks them. It works. the same way as your regular email. This also makes it an ideal solution if. you check emails from different computers. When using IMAP you won' t need to incur any extra expense to buy any. software or set up a new system.

Almost all popular email readers. support this feature. - this also means you can get your assistant set. up quickly since there is nothing new to learn how to navigate. Remember. that email counts towards your web hosting and so you' ll need to make sure. that you have enough space on your account. You' ll need to. be careful of your quota when using web mail or IMAP, though. These simple solutions should give you a good start. You' ll quickly realize how. much more productive you can be without the weight of emails on your mind.

Mother, Mentor, Wife, And That Hard To Spell Word" Entrepreuner

Business, Entrepreneurship.

My favorite subject - f - fun. M - Makes me endlessly Laugh.

A - Always there for you. - i - instant gratification. Y - You can never get enough of. L - Love, and more Love, Love. My family keeps me sane from life' s pressures, sure they forget to put away their dishes and I gently remind them and tell myself that one day they will leaving the nest and when that day comes( oh I don' t even want to think about it) . My husband and I never discussed having children and after working in the corporate world for 10 years, the thought of starting a family sounded better and better.

I am mother to 2 little ones Blair Marie( DOB 7/ 6/ 99) and Trent Phillip( DOB 2 - 5 - 04) I was married 10 years before I decided to take this journey of a lifetime. - i had 2 uneventful pregnancies and really loved every minute of it( well not the last 2 weeks) gained tons of weight, but certainly the aftermath overshadowed the blubber: ) i know how to lose weight eat right and exercise right? That struggle led me through some hurdles and some hormonal self discoveries that I eventually got past through lots of research and self guinea pig experiments. I did well with# 1 it was# 2 that I struggled with. My husband Scott and I will be celebrating 18 years of marriage on 7 - 31 - 07, it has been so long I have to actually stop and do the math in my head. I am very close to my mother( the short German lady named Ursula) and dearly miss my father that passed away at age 56 due to stress( massive heart attack) .

I have to say that I have loved every day( notice I did not say" minute" grin* ). - my mother is my business partner and still the best cook on the planet. Our family hobbies include golfing, my daughter has, boating taken up Tennis this summer and her father is overjoyed and me too, but it is pretty embarrassing for me getting whooped by an 7yr old. My step - father has also played a huge role in my upbringing and I sincerely appreciate it. In the winter we like to travel and dream of how next the summer will be, I love planning my Garden, a garden is my# 1 stress reliever, there is never a shortage of weeds around. I have a passion for people that want to discover their own lives and simply need help finding it. I work from home now and will NEVER work in corporate again, it had it' s place and I gained a lot of experience but it is like Why would I drive a Nova when I can have a Corvette?

Many people struggle with finding Harmony in their lives( I know I did) and when you do find it, many more joyful, there are many days in your life. - it is a big reason i joined the braveheart community, surrounding yourself with other liked minded people simply keeps you from slipping backwards. My husband is still the breadwinner at the moment, but I am so close to out earning him and he says" Go, baby Go" we both know that it takes lots of money to help others that have the same desires and outlook on life. Eker Explains, "First, Many People Feel Unworthy Or Undeserving

Business, Entrepreneurship.

Stop dreaming and start making money - you may have seen this statement often in your quest for wealth and abundance. Or is that really a true statement? The predicament with this statement is generally the ones making these types of comments are looking to make money off of you and not help you, right?

The perception is truly in the eyes of the beholder. - could the problem be with some stinkin' thinking? The problem may not be the product or opportunity staring you in the face. In a recent discussion, the subject came up about how to make more money to get ahead. At least we have love. - - I just do not know about the idea of selling to get rich. Comments resembled: "I cannot do that. - - What you are asking me to do is not convenient for me. - - I resent rich and successful people. - - I enjoy my friends, so what if they are negative and unsuccessful.

It is not for me. - - I would think about getting rich, but I have too many bills I have to pay now that take up all my attention! " If you can relate to any of the above comments, read on. - harv eker, author of" secrets of the millionaire mind, " states it this way, "if i had to nail down the number one reason most people do not reach their full financial potential, it would be this: most people are poor' receivers. ' they may or may not be good at giving, but they are definitely bad at receiving. And because they are poor at receiving, they don' t( receive much money) !" In his book, (which is highly recommended reading) , T Harv Eker has done a great job of examining the way wealthy people think compared to those who are not and how the human mind can be the biggest sabotage to efforts of improving your desired financial status. Think of it this way, when you buy someone a present isn' t at least part of the fun enjoying their response to or receiving the gift? Coming from past conditioning that we have learned as small children to now, if we are not in the financial state that we long to be, we probably need to readjust our views on probably everything, including receiving. If the person that you gave the present to refuses to open the gift, isn' t it frustrating?

Why does a person feel that another wouldn' t genuinely want to help me or offer something that would be of great benefit to me? - there is a feeling of incompletion. Eker explains, "First, many people feel unworthy or undeserving. For most of us it comes from hearing twenty no' s for every yes, ten' You' re doing it wrong' s for every' You' re doing it right' and five' You' re stupid' for every' You' re awesome. ' Even if our parents or guardians were incredibly supportive, many of us end up with feelings of not being able to continually measure up to their accolades and expectations. Where does this low self - esteem come from? So once again, we' re not good enough. This unwritten rule simply states that if you do something wrong, you will or should be punished.

In addition, most of us grew up with the element of punishment in our lives. - today, it could take, however the form of, 'you were bad, so no money. ' this explains why some people limit their earnings, and why others will subconsciously sabotage their success. " no wonder we have difficulty receiving. The good news is we can! It would be lovely if as adults we could just adopt this new way of thinking. But it will take practice. Simply say" you' re welcome" when someone thanks you for anything.

Here' s a simple exercise to work on. - this gives you a chance to receive the thanks that the person was offering and completes the interaction while at the same time helping you become a better receiver.
